1 ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN

RESOLVED that Mrs. D.A. Ross-Tomlin be elected Chairman of the Committee for the Municipal Year 2016/17.

2 ELECTION OF VICE-CHAIRMAN

RESOLVED that Councillor Mrs. R. Renton be elected Vice-Chairman of the Committee for the Municipal Year 2016/17.
3 MINUTES

RESOLVED that the Minutes of the meeting held on 7th April 2016 be approved as a correct record.
4 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE AND SUBSTITUTIONS

5 DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

6 STANDARDS UPDATE

The Committee received an update on Standards matters. The report covered:


• Appointment of Monitoring Officer;
• Code of Conduct – informal stage;
• Group Leader meetings;
• Complaints;
• Member training; and
• Registerable interests.

 

RESOLVED that the report be noted.
 
7 MEETINGS: 2016/17

It was noted that meetings of the committee shall be scheduled as required, in consultation with the Chairman.
