 There were no apologies for absence and membership of the Sub-Committee was as set out in the agenda.

21 APPLICATION FOR A VARIATION TO A PREMISES LICENCE:
MARKET STORES PUBLIC HOUSE, 2 HIGH STREET, REIGATE

RESOLVED, that the application for a variation of the licence in respect of the Market Stores Public House be GRANTED as set out in the agenda, subject to the addition of the following condition to the licence:

"When the premises conduct licensable activities after 01:00 hours on Fridays and Saturdays then from 21:00 hours until the premises and external areas are clear a minimum of two SIA registered door staff are employed at the premises."

21The Committee considered an application for a variation of the premises licence at the above public house, set out as follows:

To permit live music, recorded music, supply of alcohol and late night refreshment until 02:00 on Friday and Saturday.
For the premises to be open until 02:30 on Friday and Saturday.
To remove various conditions of the premises licence as set out in annex 1, attached to the agenda.

One representation had been received from Surrey Police, however, mediation had been reached with the applicant subject to the attachment of a further condition to the licence.
