Licensing and Regulatory Committee Procedure

To note the attached procedure which will be followed by the Licensing and Regulatory Committee, at the discretion of the Chairman, when considering the application at agenda item 5.

Application for a Private Hire Vehicle Licence

To determine whether a motor tricycle is suitable to be licensed as private hire vehicle.

The application to determine whether a motor tricycle was suitable to be licenced as a private hire vehicle was being adjourned for 7 days on the basis that a further point of law was being considered.

There was one item of urgent business contained within the addendum. The reason for urgency was so that a meeting of the Licensing and Regulatory Sub-Committee did not have to be convened, thus reducing the number of in person meetings being held due to risks associated with Covid-19.

 

RESOLVED that the following application determined through mediation be NOTED AND CONFIRMED;

 

a)    21/01963/LAPREM to reinstate the premises licence at Brooklyn's Bar Billiards, 9 Queensway Redhill.
