Minutes:

The Democratic and Electoral Services Manager introduced the report, which summarised the conduct of Members within the 2021-22 municipal year.

The Code of Conduct was previously reviewed in July 2020, in line with a report by the Committee on Standards in Public Life in 2019, which recommended changes to local codes of conduct to improve ethical standards.

Three Member complaints were received in the 2020-21 municipal year. The learning points from those complaints focussed on Members’ use of social media.
