Audit Committee
Purpose of committee
The purpose of the audit committee is to provide independent assurance to the Council of the adequacy of the risk management framework and the internal control environment. Furthermore, this Committee oversees the financial reporting process. It is made up of 9 Councillors and is politically balanced.
