The report seeks approval for an updated Local Development Scheme
(LDS) which sets out the timetable for the preparation of new
policy documents in the borough.
The report provides an update on the examination of the Development
Management Plan, including the Inspectors Post Hearing Advice and
the resultant consultation on main modifications. Changes to the
LDS reflecting the actual timeframes for the examination/adoption
process for the DMP. The revised LDS also sets out an updated
timetable for bringing forward a new plan to replace the current
Core Strategy which was adopted in 2014.
