A 570-signature Petition titled “Dog Control PSPO - Restore the dog limit to 6” has been received. In accordance with the Petition Procedure the Chamber may debate the Petition and then refer it to the Executive for consideration.

The attached four questions have been received from members of the public under Council Procedure Rule 2.14.

To consider any questions received from Members of the Council under Council Procedure Rule 2.15. ADDENDUM TO FOLLOW.

To receive any statement from the Leader of the Council, Members of the Executive, Chairmen of Committees or the Managing Director.

To consider the attached Motion on urban planning and affordable housing received from Members of the Council under Council Procedure Rule 2.17.

To consider the attached Motion regarding Thames Water received from Members of the Council under Council Procedure Rule 2.17.

The Council has a statutory duty to make committee appointments according to each political group’s wishes. The political balance arrangements were agreed at Annual Council on 23 May 2024.

The Monitoring Officer has received notification from the Green Group requesting changes to the committee appointments allocated to their group.

In addition, a vacancy has arisen in one seat on the Planning Committee, formerly held by Councillor Newton (Conservative).

The Monitoring Officer has received nominations from both the Conservative and Green political groups relating to these changes, and it is therefore recommended for the Council to appoint:

i.             Councillor Green to the vacant Conservative seat on the Planning Committee.

ii.            Councillor Boghani, to replace Councillor Ritter on the Overview and Scrutiny Committee; and,

iii.          Councillor Ritter, to replace Councillor Boghani on the Employment Committee.

To consider the attached report and approve a Council Tax Base for 2025/26.

To consider the attached report and approve changes to the Constitution.

To receive any announcements by the Leader of the Council.

To receive any announcements from the Mayor.
